Founded in 2017, our team of certified birth + postpartum doulas, IBCLC lactation consultants, and registered holistic nutritionists have supported hundreds of families through birth, breastfeeding and beyond. This in-person practice works with women and their families in Simcoe + Grey Bruce Counties and communities surrounding both Hamilton and London Ontario.

Mountain Momma Collective is privileged to partner with Dr. Fefelova, OBGYN of Barrie Women’s Health Centre to offer FREE Prenatal Classes (covered by OHIP). Through our virtual classes we provide current, evidence-based education to families across Ontario who want to learn more about birth, breastfeeding, and what to expect postpartum. B.A. Hons, B.Ed (Concurrent), Certified Birth + Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, Lactation Support Provider + Infant Sleep Educator

Hi! I’m Kat, a fully certified birth and postpartum doula and an Ontario certified teacher. First and foremost I’m a wife and mom to two awesome kiddos. I was a teacher at an all boys school in my previous career and got into the world of maternal support after feeling overwhelmed trying to figure out how to prepare for the birth of my boys.

Since 2016, all of my work in the maternal support field has been created around the intention of giving today’s moms current, evidence-based information and teaching them HOW to make decisions that are right for them and for their families. I work wholeheartedly with my clients by providing customized prenatal education, coaching and support. I’ve personally supported hundreds of families though their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journeys and I can’t wait to support you and show you how you can parent with confidence.
